Our Post is located at 5323 Sleepy Village Rd. in Benton, AR. We received our Charter in 1945 and are named in honor of Raymond E. McGill.
We host an Auxiliary Charter and Canteen.

First Saline County service man killed in World War 2. Raymond E. McGill, son of Louie and Leila Oakleaf McGill was born in Roanoke, Arkansas on October 21. 1919. His family moved to Saline County where he attended the Benton Schools. McGill entered the Army in the summer of 1939 and was sent to Barksdale Field, Louisiana and there, attached to the 90th Bombardment Squadron. On August 24, 1940, he completed radio school and was sent to the south pacific. Raymond E. McGill was killed in action on April 24, 1942.
